Text Message (SMS) Program

DeBry Vitality Academies PC, doing business as Vitality Weight Loss, sends text messages from (702) 675-8982 to patients and prospective patients who ask to receive them. This page describes the entire program: how you opt in, what we send, how often, what it costs, and how to get help or stop the messages. A screenshot of the opt-in form on this page is at vitalityweightloss.health/assets/sms-optin.png.
Message frequency may vary — typically 2 to 6 messages per month. Standard Message and Data Rates may apply. Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to cancel. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase or of receiving treatment. We will not share mobile information with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.
How to opt in
There are four ways to join, and every one of them requires your own affirmative action:

2. Check the SMS consent box on one of our web forms
Patient-facing forms that collect a mobile number also carry this optional, unchecked SMS consent checkbox next to the phone field. It is SMS-only (not bundled with email or phone calls). You must check it yourself; nothing is pre-checked, and those forms submit without it if you leave it blank. This is the box, exactly as it appears on those forms:

On care-intake.html and intake.html the consent box appears on the contact-information step, alongside the field where you enter your mobile number. On glp1-check.html and the other pages above it appears directly beneath the mobile phone field on the contact step of the form.
3. Text START to (702) 675-8982
Send the word START from the mobile number you want us to use. You will receive this confirmation and nothing further until you have a reason to hear from us:
“Vitality Weight Loss: Thanks for subscribing to appointment and care reminders! Reply HELP for help. Message frequency may vary. Msg&data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Reply STOP to opt out.”
4. Ask us in person or by phone
Give written or verbal permission at our clinic at 6140 Brent Thurman Way, Suite 100, Las Vegas, NV 89148, or by calling (702) 602-5002. Staff record the consent on your chart with the date and how it was given.
What we send
Messages are informational and transactional only: appointment reminders and confirmations, care follow-ups from your provider or care team, lab and body-composition scan notices, program and account notifications, and replies to questions you text us. We do not send marketing or promotional text campaigns.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies with your care, typically 2 to 6 messages per month. Some weeks you will receive none.
Cost
Vitality Weight Loss does not charge for text messages. Message and data rates may apply under your plan with your mobile carrier. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
HELP instructions
Reply HELP to any message for help. You can also call (702) 602-5002 or email info@vitalityweightloss.health. Our automatic reply to HELP is:
“Vitality Weight Loss: Support for appointment and care messages. Call (702) 602-5002 or email info@vitalityweightloss.health. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe.”
STOP instructions
Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, and QUIT all work. You will receive one final confirmation message and then no further texts from this program. To resubscribe, reply START. Our automatic reply to STOP is:
“Vitality Weight Loss: You have been unsubscribed and will no longer receive texts from DeBry Vitality Academies PC. Reply START to resubscribe.”
Opting out of text messages does not affect your care, your appointments, or any other way we contact you.
Privacy
How we handle your phone number and message content is described in our Privacy Policy, and the full program terms are in our SMS Terms. We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number, SMS opt-in consent, SMS content, or any SMS-related personal information with any third parties or affiliates for marketing, promotional, or any other purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.
Supported carriers
Compatible carriers include AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, and most US regional carriers. Carrier support can change without notice.
