Richard DeVera, NP
Richard is a Family Nurse Practitioner with a strong clinical background and a passion for helping patients achieve meaningful, sustainable weight loss. He has been practicing as a Nurse Practitioner since 2021 and brings experience in medical weight management, primary care, IV therapy, and wound care, providing him with a broad and practical foundation for supporting patients with complex health needs.
“My passion for weight loss comes from years of study in psychology and how to help people develop positive patterns in their life that lead to positive change. My mother had weight issues throughout her life that held her back from enjoying some of life’s best moments. If I can help anyone overcome their weight issues with our program, it will be worth the time and energy I personally put in to make it happen!”

He founded Vitality Weight Loss to provide a physician-led, supportive environment where patients feel respected, heard, and empowered to make sustainable lifestyle changes.
Dr. DeBry’s approach is rooted in evidence-based medicine, positive psychology, and a deep respect for each individual’s journey. His goal is not quick fixes, but lasting improvements in health and quality of life.

Richard earned his Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Chamberlain University and completed his Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Makati. He works closely with patients to address nutrition, lifestyle habits, metabolic health, and realistic goal-setting, believing that long-term success comes from education, consistency, and compassionate support—not quick fixes. He emphasizes that health is built both inside and outside the clinic, and he partners with patients to help them apply what they learn in real life.
Richard practices what he teaches. He values regular physical activity, mindful eating, and sustainable lifestyle choices, and he understands firsthand the balance required to maintain health while living a full life. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys staying active, playing basketball, traveling, cooking, and exploring Las Vegas’ diverse food scene in moderation.
